I created this blog as I want to share something personal and practical that hopefully helps others in a similar position to me: my journey to find clean, non-toxic, affordable skincare that works for pigmentation and melasma.

Hi, I’m Suzannah and I’m so excited to welcome you to my very first blog post. I created this blog...
I have had pigmentation on my face, particularly on my upper lip and forehead for over 10 years, and feel quite self-conscious about it. I also have sun spots on my cheeks that I’ve been told are from sun damage.
I recently had a general check with a dermatologist who suggested hydroquinone. I started reading about it and very quickly learned it is a harsh and toxic chemical. For many years I’ve limited the use of harsh and toxic chemicals in my daily routine, so was definitely not going to try hydroquinone.
So, I started researching: ingredients, brands, scientific research, product feedback, trying to find products that are both clean, effective and affordable. I simply cannot afford the price tag on some products.
After doing some research I noticed there seemed to be a gap: real people sharing real experiences with products, especially ones designed to treat pigmentation, without toxic ingredients or luxury-level prices.
I believe clean, effective skincare products do not need to cost the earth (in more ways than one!) so it’s my mission to find them, trial them and share my journey.
Here’s what you can expect:
30 Days, One Product: My Pigmentation Trial Begins
Starting this week, I’ll be testing a new product that targets pigmentation and dark spots. I’ve already chosen the first one for its clean ingredients, promising reviews and affordability. I’ll reveal exactly what it is and why I chose it in my next post coming soon.
Over the next 30 days, I’ll be applying it daily and documenting my progress here and on Instagram. I’ll share:
If I can help any others reduce their pigmentation or dark spots and feel better in their skin that’s a win for me!
This blog is hopefully the beginning of something bigger. As I test and discover products that truly help with pigmentation, I plan to launch a curated online store.
My goal? To offer a small, trusted selection of clean, non-toxic skincare products that actually work—and that don’t cost a fortune.
Honesty, simplicity and real results are what I’m aiming for.
